DISCLAIMERS
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Judah Christian School admits students of any race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin with all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to JCS students. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, or sex (which God wonderfully and immutably created as two distinct biological genders of male and female at conception) in the administration of our educational policies, admission procedure, scholarship awards, athletic and other school administered programs. We do, however, reserve the right to deny admission to any individual who cannot benefit from enrollment based on past academic achievement, disqualifying handicap, or whose personal/family lifestyle is not in harmony with the stated philosophy and purpose of Judah.

FAITH'S LAW
Faith’s Law Mandate against Sexual Abuse in Schools

On December 3, 2021, Governor Pritzker signed Faith’s Law, P.A. 102-0676 (HB 1976), into law. Faith’s Law expands the criminal definition of grooming beyond electronic communications to include written communications and acts committed in person or by conduct through a third party. The law also makes it clear that mandated reporters must report suspected grooming to DCFS under the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act. In addition to expanding the criminal definition of grooming, Faith’s Law includes several new requirements for schools and educators intended to prevent sexual abuse and misconduct in schools.
The law specifically provides that any violation of the employee code of professional conduct or failure to report a violation may subject an employee to discipline, up to and including dismissal from employment. As part of this law, we are sharing a copy of the Resource Guide to support you and your family should you need it.
EMPLOYEE CODE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT & ABUSE POLICY
As part of Faith’s Law, now in the Illinois School Code at 105 ILCS 5/22-85.5, below you may download the Judah Christian School Employee Code of Professional Conduct.
