Director of Development

Job Purpose:  To design, implement & evaluate the development, fundraising and public relations activities at Judah Christian School.  The Director of Development will work to secure philanthropic support needed to provide sufficient resources for the school to achieve its strategic goals.

Position Summary:  The Director of Development will create and implement a comprehensive development program to involve alumni, parents, friends, business and civic leaders in the realization of the mission and goals of Judah Christian School. The Director of Development is a member of the administrative team, and will work cooperatively with the Business Manager and Chief Educational Officer with regularity.  This position reports directly to the Board of Education.

Coaching Vacancies

Summary:  Judah Christian School is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

  • Assistant Junior High Soccer Coaches (season starts 8/5/13)
  • Head Junior High Cross Country Coach (season starts 8/5/13)
  • Head High School Cross Country Coach (season starts 8/14/13)
  • Head Junior High Girls Basketball Coach (season starts 9/2/13)
  • Head 5th Grade Boys Basketball Coach (season starts 10/14/13)
  • Assistant High School Girls Basketball Coach (season starts 11/4/13)

Successful candidates will have the ability to communicate and organize activities. Knowledge of fundamental coaching technique as well as sports playing rules and statistics is required.  Candidate must have the ability to work with people, motivate others to improve performance, and coach with an emphasis on Godly character.

Qualifications: 
• All coaches must have a valid Illinois teaching certification or be ASEP certified (which can be attained after being hired).
• Previous coaching experience (preferred)
• Previous high school and/or college playing experience (preferred)
